New Office Opening: Mount Vernon

 Family Life Counseling & Psychiatric Services is proud to announce our expansion into the Mount Vernon area, located at 1095 Harcourt Rd., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.

Family Life Counseling has promoted family involvement of services for over 20 years. We believe in treating the entire family and environment, with an emphasis on returning the client to a healthy family and community life. Our executive director, Steven Burggraf, continues to promote expansion of these important programs across Ohio.

To date, Family Life Counseling is proud to be represented in Richland, Crawford, Huron, Ashland, Holmes, Wayne, and Knox counties. Within these offices, we offer a full spectrum of services, including: individual and family services, couples counseling, psychiatric options, play therapy, life coaching, behavioral and addiction interventions, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, and community-based services, such as employee assistance programs or school-based services.

Due to COVID19, we will be delaying an in-person open house of the new office; however, we continue to provide in-person and telephonic counseling services. We welcome individuals to come see our new location for assessments and appointments, as well as assure the local community that we will host an open house when it is safe to do so.

Our Regional Director, Melissa Speelman, reports “we are proud to be expanding our services into the Knox county communities. Our team of dedicated staff continues to work together every day to make a difference for individuals and families.
